During National Police Week, the Senate Judiciary Committee advanced bipartisan legislation led by Sen. Chuck Grassley (R-Iowa), senior member and former chairman of the Judiciary Committee, to solve staffing shortages at local police departments. The Retired Law Enforcement Officers Continuing Service Act would provide departments financial support and direct access to a pool of retired feder . . .
