WASHINGTON, May 17 -- Sen. Cindy Hyde-Smith, R-Mississippi, issued the following news release:

Hyde-Smith & Wyden Lead Resolution Designating Day to Promote Outdoor Recreation

The U.S. Senate this week approved a resolution introduced by U.S. Senators Cindy Hyde-Smith (R-Miss.) and Ron Wyden (D-Ore.) to promote healthy outdoor recreation by designating May 18, 2024, as National Kids to Parks Day and to encourage young people and their families to get outdoors.
