Legislation authored by Congressman Darrell Issa (CA-48), Chairman of the Judiciary Subcommittee on Courts, Intellectual Property, and the Internet to amend U.S. patent code passed the House Judiciary Committee by unanimous voice vote.
Issa's bill, H.R. 7803, authorizes the Director of the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office to provide good faith exceptions to certain fines imposed . . .
