W.Va. U.S. Attorney: Kanawha County Man Pleads Guilty to Fentanyl Crime

CHARLESTON, West Virginia, May 16 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Southern District of West Virginia issued the following news release on May 15, 2024:

Travell Lamar Johnson, 45, of Big Chimney, pleaded guilty today to distribution of fentanyl.

According to court documents and statements made in court, on June 14, 2023, Johnson sold approximately 3.5 grams of fentanyl to a confidential informant at a Charleston gas station. Johnson admitted to the transaction . . .
