Grant Will Increase Access to Affordable Housing in Flint

WASHINGTON, May 13 -- Rep. Daniel Kildee, D-Michigan, issued the following news release:

FLINT--Congressman Dan Kildee (MI-08) today announced new federal funds to help Metro Community Development, Inc. develop affordable housing, revitalize neighborhoods, and create good-paying jobs in Flint.

Through the federal NeighborWorks America program, this $229,000 grant will support Metro Community Development in its work to improve and maintain affordable housing and strength . . .
