WASHINGTON, May 7 -- Rep. Anna Paulina Luna, R-Florida, issued the following news release:

Today, Congresswoman Anna Paulina Luna (FL-13) introduced a resolution (H. Res. 1205) to hold Attorney General Merrick Garland in inherent contempt of Congress for failing to respond to a lawfully issued subpoena.

"Attorney General Garland's refusal to turn over the subpoenaed information is not just an insult to the House of Representatives, but a direct threat to our const . . .
