Senator Roger Wicker, R-Miss., the highest-ranking Republican on the U.S. Senate Armed Services Committee, released the following statement regarding the reports:
"If Hamas laid down its weapons, the war would be over. But if Israel lays down its weapons, it would be the end of Israel. Unfortunately, President Biden has this backwards. He has withheld arms for our staunchest . . .
