LAFAYETTE, Louisiana, May 7 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Louisiana issued the following news release:

Forrest Kevin Dwayne Matthews, 39, of Lafayette, Louisiana, has been sentenced on drug trafficking charges, announced United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown.
