SALT LAKE CITY, Utah, May 4 -- The American Civil Liberties Union of Utah issued the following news release:
'The form launched by the Utah State Auditor encourages individuals to infringe on Utahns' right to privacy in bathrooms and other personal spaces. This is an effort to intimidate and single out gender-diverse people, including transgender and nonbinary people - full stop.
Both H.B. 257 and the resulting form perpetuate an environment where gender-diverse people, . . .
