PORTLAND, Oregon, May 1 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Oregon issued the following news release on April 30, 2024:

A former Oregon Department of Human Services employee was sentenced to 25 years in federal prison today for violating the civil rights of a woman with developmental disabilities in his care by engaging in sexual misconduct with her.
