The U.S. House of Representatives today passed the Fire Weather Development Act, a bipartisan bill co-led by Congresswoman Yadira Caraveo (CO-08), Congressman Mike Garcia (CA-27), and Congresswoman Young Kim (CA-40). The legislation would provide NOAA with enhanced capability to improve fire weather forecasting, detection, and collaboration to better support communities vulnerable to wildfire . . .
