ORLANDO, Florida, April 30 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Florida issued the following news release:

United States Attorney Roger B. Handberg announces the filing of a complaint charging Jordonish Garcia Torres (28, Orlando) with carjacking resulting in death. If convicted, Garcia Torres faces a maximum penalty of death or life imprisonment.

According to the complaint, on April 11, 2024, Garcia Torres carjacked a woman at gunpoint in Winte . . .
