WASHINGTON, April 27 -- Rep. Jodey Arrington, R-Texas, chairman of the House Budget Committee, issued the following news release on April 26, 2024:
Today, the Bureau of Economic Analysis (BEA) reported that the Personal Consumption Expenditures (PCE) price index, the Federal Reserve's preferred measure of inflation, rose to 2.7 percent for the month of March. This is an increase from February's 2.5 percent.
