OAK RIDGE, Tennessee, April 23 -- The U.S. Department of Energy's Oak Ridge National Laboratory issued the following news release:
Thomas Proffen, a neutron scattering scientist at Oak Ridge National Laboratory and founder of Oak Ridge Computer Science Girls, was recognized with an award from the National Center for Women & Information Technology, or NCWIT.
