WASHINGTON, April 20 -- Rep. Lloyd Smucker, R-Pennsylvania, issued the following news release:
Rep. Lloyd Smucker (PA-11), a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, offered comments during a trade package markup that would strengthen supply chains and combat China. Smucker's legislation, H.R. 7967 the Good Actor Act, advanced as a part of H.R. 7986, the Generalized System of Preferences (GSP) Reform Act, which passed the House Ways and Means Committee by a vote of 25-17.
