Ohio U.S. Attorney: Jury Convicts Self-Described Civil Rights Activist From Toledo of Wire Fraud and Money Laundering

TOLEDO, Ohio, April 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Northern District of Ohio issued the following news release:

Sir Maejor Page, 35, of Toledo, was found guilty of wire fraud and three counts of money laundering by a jury after a six-day trial before U.S. District Judge Jeffrey Helmick.

According to court documents and testimony, in 2016, Page created a Facebook page for "Black Lives Matter of Greater Atlanta" ("BLMGA") and registered . . .
