FLORENCE, South Carolina, April 19 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of South Carolina issued the following news release:
Marquand Jerome Newell, 41, of Mullins, was sentenced to more than 9 years in federal prison after pleading guilty to possession with intent to distribute methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, and fentanyl, and possessing a firearm in furtherance of drug trafficking.
