OTTAWA, Ontario, April 16 -- The Canada Department of National Defence issued the following news release:
Today, His Majesty's Canadian Ship (HMCS) Montreal's crew bid farewell to their loved ones at a departure ceremony held at HMCS Scotian in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
The departure of HMCS Montreal later this week will represent the first of three Royal Canadian Navy (RCN) warships that are annually deploying under Operation HORIZON in support of the Government of Canada' . . .
