LOS ANGELES, California, April 16 -- The Sunrise Movement issued the following news release on April 15, 2024:
6 young people were arrested this morning after blockading the street outside VP Kamala Harris's LA home, demanding she push Biden to declare a climate emergency and end U.S. military funding for Israel. The group of protestors began their occupation yesterday afternoon, with dozens camping out overnight on Harris' street.
