NEW YORK, April 16 -- Action Against Hunger issued the following news release on April 15, 2024:
Today marks the one-year anniversary of the start of the conflict in Sudan. Nearly 18 million people, or one in three Sudanese, face high levels of acute food insecurity and five million are dealing with emergency levels of hunger.
