JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas, April 15 -- The U.S. Air Force Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (16th Air Force) issued the following news:
The Air Force selected 2,053 active-duty officers for promotion to lieutenant colonel and major during recent CY23D and CY23E central selection boards.
In total, the Air Force selected 58 majors for promotion to lieutenant colonel (BSC) and 1,995 captains for promotion to major (LAF-A, LAF-N, LAF-I, LAF-C and LAF-F).
