Sens. Klobuchar, Smith Secure Funding for Project to Re-Route Highway 60 in Wabasha

WASHINGTON, April 12 -- Sen. Amy Klobuchar, D-Minnesota, issued the following news release:
U.S. Senators Amy Klobuchar (D-MN) and Tina Smith (D-MN) announced that they secured $5,000,000 in funding in the Fiscal Year 2024 federal budget for the Wabasha Resiliency Project. This grant will be used to reroute Highway 60 to improve flood mitigation. Additionally, the new route will add new public infrastructure to allow for new residential and commercial developments surrounding it.
