WASHINGTON, April 11 -- The U.S. Department of Defense's Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency issued the following news release:
The Defense POW/MIA Accounting Agency (DPAA) announced today that Seaman First Class (S1c) James W. Holzhauer, 22, of Abingdon, Virginia, killed during World War II, was accounted for on May 18, 2018.
On Dec. 7, 1941, Holzhauer was assigned to the battleship USS Oklahoma, which was moored at Ford Island, Pearl Harbor, when the ship was attacked b . . .
