PALERMO, Italy, April 11 -- The U.S. Navy's U.S. Fleet Forces Command issued the following news on April 10, 2024:
After a safe Suez Canal transit, the Arleigh Burke-class guided-missile destroyer USS Carney (DDG 64) transited the Straits of Messina and arrived in Palermo, Italy, for a regularly scheduled port visit, April 9, 2024.
