ALBUQUERQUE, New Mexico, April 10 -- Bernalillo County issued the following news release on April 9, 2024:
Tonight, County Commissioners voted to accept a Housing Initiative Appropriation Grant from the State of New Mexico's Department of Finance and Administration for $550,000 dollars. This grant will be used to purchase vacant and/or underutilized land in the International District, which will eventually become the site of future affordable housing programs for Bernalillo County.< . . .
