WASHINGTON, April 5 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Columbia issued the following news release on April 4, 2024:
A Kentucky man pleaded guilty today to two felony charges of assaulting law enforcement during the breach of the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021. His actions and those of others disrupted a joint session of the U.S. Congress convened to ascertain and count the electoral votes related to the 2020 presidential election.
