ATLANTA, Georgia, April 4 -- The Environmental Protection Agency issued the following news release on April 3, 2024:
Today, the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) announced a $10 million Water Infrastructure Finance and Innovation Act (WIFIA) loan to the City of Memphis in Tennessee. EPA's loan will support critical stormwater infrastructure updates to improve the city's resiliency to storms.
Since 2018, EPA's WIFIA program has announced $20 billion in financing . . .
