WASHINGTON, April 3 -- Rep. Doug LaMalfa, R-California, issued the following news release:

Today, Congressman Doug LaMalfa (R-Richvale) announced the opening of military service academy nominations through his Congressional office. Rep. LaMalfa invites students from California's 1st Congressional District who wish to pursue military service to apply for a Congressional nomination to America's military service academies.
