INDIANAPOLIS, Indiana, April 3 -- The Indiana House Democrats issued the following news on April 2, 2024:

Yesterday, the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) issued a letter to all teaching hospitals that they must obtain written, informed consent from a patient to perform a sensitive examination such as pelvic, rectal, prostate or breast exams.
