WICHITA, Kansas, April 3 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Kansas issued the following news release:
A Kansas man was sentenced to 180 months in prison for trafficking fentanyl.
Devonte Smith, 28, of Wichita pleaded guilty to possession with intent to distribute fentanyl.
According to court documents, in April 2023, Smith and a co-defendant traveled by plane from Wichita to Arizona, to purchase fentanyl-laced pills, which they arrange . . .
