WASHINGTON, March 30 -- Sen. Laphonza Butler, D-California, issued the following news release on March 29, 2024:

Today, U.S. Senator Laphonza Butler (D-Calif.) and Senator Martin Heinrich (D-N.M.) introduced legislation to establish a new federal tax credit to enable local small businesses, including landscaping and lawn care businesses, to transition to zero-emission equipment more easily and without financial burden.
