CARLISLE, Kentucky, March 28 -- Rep. Andy Barr, R-Kentucky, issued the following news release on March 27, 2024:
On Monday, Congressman Andy Barr (KY-06) announced $1,769,000 in federal funding to Nicholas County Fiscal Court to construct a new Emergency Medical Services (EMS) facility in Carlisle. Barr secured this funding in the Fiscal Year 2024 Community Project Funding Process. The current EMS facility was badly damaged in a 2021 flood.
