WEST LAFAYETTE, Indiana, March 26 -- Purdue University issued the following news release:
Last October, 2009 World Food Prize winner Gebisa Ejeta received the highest scientific honor awarded in the United States: the National Medal of Science. On April 1 he will receive Purdue's highest honor at an event that will also focus on Ejeta's research and his commitment to end hunger in Africa.
