KANSAS CITY, Missouri, March 23 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Missouri issued the following news release on March 22, 2024:
A Kansas City, Mo., man was convicted in federal court today of his role in a conspiracy to distribute heroin and of illegally possessing firearms.
Edgar A. Mejia, 49, was found guilty by a jury of one count each of conspiracy to distribute heroin and possessing firearms in furtherance of a drug-trafficking crime.
