WASHINGTON, March 21 -- Sen. Richard J. Durbin, D-Illinois, issued the following news release:
Senate Majority Whip Dick Durbin (D-IL) today met with Dr. Tony Sanders, Illinois Superintendent of Education, to discuss the future of assessments for students in Illinois and the importance of preparing students for postsecondary education.
