ITHACA, New York, March 22 -- Cornell University issued the following news:
"Insects and Crustacea" and "Birds" were among the handful of classes students could take during Cornell's first Summer Session in 1876. Today, enrollment is open for hundreds of courses from every college offered in three-, six- and eight-week periods between June 3 and August 6.
