U.S. Senator Tom Carper (D-Del.), Chairman of the Senate Environment and Public Works Committee, today led a hearing to examine per- and polyfluoroalkyl substances (PFAS) as hazardous substances under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA).
