BALTIMORE, Maryland, March 20 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the District of Maryland issued the following news release:
U.S. District Judge Deborah K. Chasanow sentenced Giovanni Pope, age 30, to 200 months in federal prison, followed by five years of supervised release for the murder of his mother, a Department of Defense civilian employee working in Bahrain.
