WASHINGTON, March 19 -- The U.S. Department of Homeland Security's Immigration and Customs Enforcement issued the following news release:
HOUSTON - The leader of an animal trafficking ring was sentenced to prison March 18 for selling endangered wildlife in violation of the Lacey Act following an investigation by Homeland Security Investigations (HSI) Houston, the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service and the Department of Agriculture's Office of Inspector General.
