JOINT BASE SAN ANTONIO-LACKLAND, Texas, March 18 -- The U.S. Air Force Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland (16th Air Force) issued the following news:
For the U.S. Army Medical Research and Development Command's Institute of Surgical Research Burn Center's Burn Flight Team, flying long distances to aid service members with thermal injuries is part of the job.
But a nearly 14,000-mile round-trip flight to and from Australia this past October did more than set a new team rec . . .
