WASHINGTON, March 15 -- Rep. Timothy Burchett, R-Tennessee, issued the following news release:
KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (March 15, 2024) - Today, U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett (TN-02) wrote a letter to U.S. Capitol Police Chief John Thomas Manger demanding the charges against Steve Nikoui be dropped. Nikoui was arrested during the State of the Union speech on March 7, 2024 when he stood in the gallery and yelled during the speech.
