NEW YORK, March 7 -- The Police Benevolent Association of New York issued the following statement on March 6, 2024:

The PBA today filed notice in federal district court that it will appeal the court's February approval of a lawsuit settlement mandating sweeping changes in the NYPD's policies for policing mass demonstrations.
