WASHINGTON, March 7 -- Sen. Christopher Murphy, D-Connecticut, issued the following news release on March 6, 2024:
Senator Chris Murphy (D-Conn.), a member of the U.S. Senate Appropriations Committee, on Wednesday announced he will vote against the minibus appropriations package due to a problematic provision that will make it more difficult for the federal government to address our nation's gun violence epidemic.
