ALBANY, New York, March 5 -- Gov. Kathy Hochul, D-New York, issued the following news release on March 4, 2024:
Governor Kathy Hochul today announced significant progress in the fight against crime in New York's Capital Region and across the state. During a visit to New York State Police Troop G Headquarters, Governor Hochul highlighted an overall decline in crime in the Capital Region and announced gun seizures are up by 160 percent across the state since the Governor took office. . . .
