LAFAYETTE, Louisiana, March 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Western District of Louisiana issued the following news release:
United States Attorney Brandon B. Brown announced that Gabriel Hawthorne, 41, of Abbeville, Louisiana, has been sentenced for conspiring to distribute fentanyl in the Abbeville area. United States District Judge Robert R. Summerhays sentenced Hawthorne to 120 months (10 years) in prison, followed by 3 years of supervised release.
