BATON ROUGE, Louisiana, March 2 -- The office of the U.S. Attorney for the Middle District of Louisiana issued the following news release:
United States Attorney Ronald C. Gathe, Jr., announced that U.S. District Judge Brian A. Jackson sentenced Dr. Melissa Rose Barrett, age 49, of Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and Clive, Iowa, to 52 months in federal prison following her conviction for tax evasion.
