WASHINGTON, Feb. 29 -- Rep. Troy Carter, D-Louisiana, issued the following news release on Feb. 28, 2024:

Today, Congressman Troy A. Carter, Sr. (D-L.A.) encouraged Louisiana residents to apply for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loan forgiveness during the goodwill exception period. This Small Business Administration program has provided critical relief for thousands of small businesses. The deadline to apply is March 3, 2024.
