OKLAHOMA CITY, Oklahoma, Feb. 29 -- The Oklahoma State Senate issued the following news release on Feb. 28, 2024:
The Senate Appropriations Committee on Wednesday unanimously approved a bill from Sen. Roger Thompson, R-Okemah, to better mobilize law enforcement when a child is abducted.
Thompson's Senate Bill 1407 would authorize the formation of child abduction response teams to quickly engage federal, state, local and tribal law enforcement entities when a minor age 1 . . .
