WASHINGTON, Feb. 27 -- Sen. Jon Tester, D-Montana, issued the following news release on Feb. 26, 2024:
Following years-long efforts by Senate Veterans' Affairs Committee Chairman Jon Tester to expand toxic-exposed veterans' access to health care, the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) today announced that all veterans who were exposed to toxins and other hazards while serving in the military will be eligible to enroll directly in VA health care without first applying for VA benefit . . .
