George Young, D-Oklahoma City, issued the following statement after Monday's Senate passage of legislation allowing municipalities to remove language originally intended to prevent minorities from moving into neighborhoods. Young is coauthor of Senate Bill 1617, by Sen. Kristen Thompson, R-Edmond.
